Scenic Dirt Roads of Tamworth 9:30 am

Tuesday, June 14, 2022

For this Tuesday, Rachel will lead one of her favorite tours of the dirt and paved roads of Tamworth. She always gives us a great tour of the area and its history, pointing out and describing interesting places along the way.  Looks like good weather for this ride!  The bike club's ride code for this is B/3/18

Meet Rachel at the parking lot at Chocorua Lake. Heading south on Route 16, the lake will be on your right. Take a right onto Chocorua Lake Road, a dirt road that goes between two sections of the lake, it is the road with the scenic bridge with a lake view. After you turn onto Chocorua Lake Road, there is a parking lot to the left side, before the bridge. A porta potty is there, too.

Meet there, ready to ride, at 9:30 am.

Distance?  About 18 miles.

Bring snacks or lunch to enjoy long the river.
